May 2 was Easter IV and the
second Sunday of Jazz Fest.
On this Sunday, Grace Church has traditionally replaced its usual 10 a.m. Liturgy
with a Jazz Mass
The Mass Setting was by the late James Campbell, and the Jazz Group was
Stephen Foster's New Millennium Jazz Group
The
Council of
Associated Parishes for Liturgy and Mission was present for the service and The
Rev'd Donald Scheel from St. Gregory of Nyssa Church in San Francisco was the
preacher.
