Highlights from the Endymion Fundraiser
The Saturday before Mardi Gras is the day of the Krewe of Endymion's parade.
This Mid-City Krewe puts on the largest parade of the entire New Orleans Carnival season. The parade
passes right in front of Grace Church on Canal Street. Endymion is Grace
Church's largest one-day fundraiser. It is a safe place to view the parade, with
parking, food, music and amenities. It has become the regular place for many out-of-town people, especially Episcopalians, to view the parade with revelers from
the city. Although the parade passes from 5 to 9 p.m., people arrive as early 9
a.m. to get a good seat.
